Bio: Stan & Cindy Smelser

    Stan Smelser is a graduate of Brown Institute of Radio & TV Broadcasting, Ozark Bible College with a degree in Christian Education, and Moody Bible Institute's Missionary Aviation Program.  Stan has been a pilot since 1977, holds a commercial Pilot's License with an Instrument Rating as well as a Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic's License, Stan has over 16 year experience as a Radio Broadcast Engineer, 7 years teaching Christian Radio and as Manager of Ozark Christian College's KOBC radio station.  Stan has also served as a minister with Centerview Christian Church, Trade, Tennessee.  Cindy Smelser is also a graduate of Ozark Bible College and is currently working as a commercial lighting representative in Des Moines, Iowa.

    The Smelser's have been involved with PMCC since 1988 when they were invited by Charles and Roberta Selby to establish a broadcasting and aviation ministry in Northern Luzon, Philippines.  Following necessary additional training, the purchase of an aircraft and a period of deputation the Smelser's established the work in the Philippine in 1995.

    The Smelser's are currently on extended furlough representing the work of CARM.  A primary responsibility of the Smelser's is the recruitment of additional personnel to serve with CARM in the Philippines in the areas of Evangelism, Radio Programming, and Aviation.

   The Smelser's have three children Amanda- a student of Iowa State University, Matthew- High School (Junior), and Sarah- High School (Freshman).
